Asian Americans in Design (Vol. 1) is a short book about Asian American designers that attend Cal Poly Pomona's art department.  The focus of the book is to get an understanding of the Asian experience of Graphic Designers in the department.  Volume 1 revolves around five students and interviews that analyze their design background, family value of the career path, and their influences.

These spreads discuss the issue with diversity within the graphic design field and AIGA community and why diversity in the field matters.
Each designer contains 3 spreads.  First spread is their name and colors that match their personality.  Second spread is their profile and their specialized skill in the field.  The first and second spreads are to act as business cards minus the contact information.  The Third spread is the interview.
The physical book contains a sleeve and interior design that includes gold foil.
